Hail to the . . . Mall
I was soooo excited to get up this morning, make breakfast, read the non-inauguration parts of the newspaper, and then watch my favorite daytime TV treat--the Ellen Degeneres Show. (Sidebar, I think I write too much about TV. I have a real life. I swear.)
The first part turned out fine. Then I turn on NBC at 11 to see....a motorcade. Ellen has been preempted by a line of black cars and voice over by news casters discussing how the seats inside recline--I kid you not, that's what they were talking about.
In retaliation, Bethany and I are going to the Pentagon City mall. Hooray for Christmas returns, gift cards and the Commonwealth.
