What were they thinking?
I have just learned that E! has dumped Joan and Melissa from their awards show coverage in favor of.....Star Jones. Huh? How stupid can you be? The classic Joan Rivers bitchiness is the only reason to watch. By the time the awards start, you've seen and dished all the clothes, and you don't have to sit through pathetic acceptance speeches. Fortunately, we will still be able to catch Joan and Melissa on the TV Guide Channel, which will (thankfully) be ditching the rolling TV listings in order to show us fashion mistakes in full-screen glory. At least someone out there has some sense.
